Founder / Principal Consultant
Rob Coates is the founder of RC Media, a management consulting and creative services firm dedicated to helping organizations, entrepreneurs, and brands grow with clarity, consistency, and momentum.
He holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership and brings over three decades of experience spanning brand strategy, media production, and organizational leadership. His career includes operating commercial and private studios, teaching audio engineering at Belmont University, consulting in healthcare IT and communications, and leading sports organizations at both community and competitive levels.
At RC Media, Rob combines his expertise in strategy and systems design with his background in creative production to deliver integrated solutions for clients across healthcare, music, sports, entertainment, non-profit, and entrepreneurial ventures. He is passionate about building frameworks that not only tell a compelling story but also create scalable, sustainable growth.
When not working with clients, Rob invests in developing innovative programs in performance mastery, brand integrity, and creative education — always with a focus on helping people unlock their potential and leave a lasting impact.

Principal Consultant, Evaluation & Client Strategy
Tawny Coates brings more than 30 years of professional experience to RC Media, blending expertise in evaluation, compliance, and client engagement. She built a distinguished career as a certified real estate appraiser in both California and Tennessee, and owned and operated Cross Appraisals, where she served a professional clientele of banks, financial institutions, real estate agents, and appraisal management companies.
Her entrepreneurial background and decades of experience in high-level evaluation, regulatory compliance, and client advisory services give her a unique perspective on business frameworks and client strategy. At RC Media, Tawny leverages this expertise to lead project oversight, client relations, and strategic development, ensuring that every solution is both creative and operationally sound.
Known for her precision, integrity, and ability to connect big-picture goals with detailed execution, Tawny plays a key role in helping RC Media clients build sustainable systems, strong relationships, and long-term momentum.
